​Kristin has a heart to meet with children, adolescents, young adults, and individuals as they deal with anxiety, depression, major life decisions, stress management, and
emotional regulation.

Kristin seeks to use an integrative approach in her counseling. She uses a person-
centered approach utilizing approaches from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy techniques and more. Through getting to know and connecting with clients she hopes to identify an approach that best meets each client’s needs. She would love to provide Christian counseling upon request.
 

​Kristin has worked in early childhood education in various roles as well as volunteering in her church in the children’s and youth ministry. She has multi-cultural experience having lived and served as a missionary in other countries. Kristin has been married to her husband for 17 years and is the mother to three busy children. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, playing games and traveling with her family.

Personal Statement from Kristin:

I have always loved to listen to people share their stories. Counseling to me is walking alongside someone as they process and explore what is going on in their lives. Through exploring the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of each person, I believe we can work towards wholeness. I want each of my clients to feel safe, seen, and heard as we walk together through their current situation.

Kristin accepts Aetna and Cigna PPO plans as well as a private pay rate of $115 per session.
